As Holy Thursday approaches Fr. Bill will examine the roots of the Mass in the Exodus and the Jewish Passover. What was the Passover like at the time of Jesus? What was Jesus’ purpose for instituting the Eucharist during the feast of Passover? What did Jesus mean when he said “this is my body….this is my blood”? Come away from this class with a deeper understanding of the Eucharist, the prayers of the Mass, and the memorial meal in which we share in the Passion of Jesus Christ. CFD: Theology
