Irish Saints and Spirituality

March 10, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Tuesday, March 10, 7-8:30pm

With Fr. Michael Hennessy, CSP

Saint Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland, Saint Brendan sailed across the Atlantic in a small leather boat, and Saint Brigid once turned bathwater into beer! These are the legends of the great early saints of Ireland. Yet, what do we really know about these important figures in both the Church and Ireland? Join Fr. Michael Hennessy as we explore these legends and the men and women behind them. We’ll also share some authentic Irish tea and scones and reflect on what these saints can show us about our lives as Catholics in our world today. ($10 donation requested.)
