Fra Angelico, the 15th-century Dominican artist, captures the light of faith in his marvelous frescoes.  He preached not in words but in beauty.  His angels are so lovely he was given his name in their honor.  Let us explore, celebrate and pray with some of his treasures preserved in the Dominican convento of San Marco in Florence, Italy.  May Fra Angelico’s light shine into our darkness so that we can experience that same Light.

Sr. Diane Zerfas, OP, is a Grand Rapids Dominican Sister and Coordinator of the DCM Spirituality Center.  Dominican Center Marywood has just moved to Aquinas College and are exploring new opportunities for contemplative prayer, shared study and community building for the sake of service in their new location.
