Dialogue requires perseverance and patience, but it also enables mutual understanding. What are the opportunities for diverse peoples in our community to come together for dialogue? How do we promote collaboration amid differences of vision, belief, or opinion?
This program is part of the Synod Conversation Series, an ecumenical dialogue supporting members of area faith communities to live out our service in the world, especially with those on the margins of society.

Brian Plachta is an author, spiritual mentor, and holds a Masters in Pastoral Counseling. After taking a spiritual gifts inventory in his 30’s, he discovered God was inviting him to a life of writing, teaching, and mentoring others on the spiritual path. Over the course of several years, he moved from a full-time attorney to “Of Counsel” at the law firm he established so he could follow the call to serve others in new ways during the second half of his life.
