55Plus – Faithful Citizenship: After the Election

November 12 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Participate in-person or online
Suggested Donation: $15 – $25

Our call as Christians is to live out our faith, before and after an election, in the public square and around our family dinner table.

Drawing from the rich tradition of Catholic social teaching, we will explore how to communicate with family members, neighbors, public servants, and legislators. Learn how remain engaged in democratic processes with faith, hope, and love.

This is a space for dialogue, welcoming a diversity of perspectives knowing that there are no simple solutions to the various issues at local, state, and national levels. It is an opportunity to share with others and explore the teaching of the Catholic Church.

Panelists: Paul Stankewitz, legislative advocate for Michigan Catholic Conference, Allison McCulley, coordinator for Together West Michigan, and Paulist Father Mike Cruickshank, associate pastor at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew.
