Art Exhibit, Reception and Presentation
Monday, October 21, 6:30-8:45pm
Featuring Artist Fr. Frank Sabatté, CSP
RSVP by Monday, October 14. Please call 616-459-7267 or email register@catholicinformationcenter.org
Great art, regardless of the style, whether a Leonardo or a Pollack, can open your eyes and your soul, to what you are in danger of missing, or what you would prefer to miss. In this talk, Fr. Frank will invite participants to “look and look again” at artwork, not with the intention of determining their “meaning” but to allow the work to speak. Great art is a conversation that never ends.
At 6:30pm, please join us for a reception and the opening of an art exhibit featuring the tapestry portraits created by Fr. Frank Sabatté, CSP. His collection includes a beautiful portrait of our beloved Fr. John Kenny!
At 7:30pm, Fr. Frank will give his presentation for our annual Gallagher Talk.
