The Catholic Church has produced some of the world’s greatest beer, wine, and liquors. In this program, we’ll discuss the various spirits that Catholic religious orders have distilled through the centuries, including Chartreuse, which some consider to be the world’s greatest liquor. Together, we will talk about the history of liquor production and the Church’s involvement in it and connect the important social value of enjoying a fine spirit over a conversation with friends and family.
