Interfaith Celebration of Peace

September 19, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

In anticipation of the International Day of Peace, observed annually on September 21, the Institute for Global Education will host an Interfaith Celebration on Sunday, September 19 at 2 p.m. at the Catholic Information Center, located at 360 Division Ave. South, Grand Rapids*.

A panel of speakers will reflect on the theme of “recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world.” As we heal from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are inspired to think creatively and collectively about how to help everyone recover better, how to build resilience, and how to transform our world into one that is more equal, more just, equitable, inclusive, sustainable, and healthier.

Going forth, the celebration continues by standing up against acts of hate online and offline, and by spreading compassion, kindness, and hope.

All are welcome. None are strangers

Parking is located in the ramp off of Wealthy, one block east of Division.
