The movie “Revolutions of the Heart: The Dorothy Day Story” details Dorothy Day’s journey from young journalist, to co-founding The Catholic Worker newspaper and “houses of hospitality,” sheltering and feeding New York City’s homeless during the Great Depression, emerges a portrait of a selfless woman who followed her heart to better the lives of those less fortunate. Participants will view the movie followed by conversation about her life and her cause for sainthood.

Fr. Paul Milanowski is a priest of the Diocese of Grand Rapids. He has had a lifelong interest in the Catholic Worker Movement. Kate Villaire, retired college professor, is a member of the Cathedral of Saint Andrew.
